Blue jays always seem to have trouble eating from the bird feeder; usually they forage on the ground below. But this one has decided to perch on the feeder pole. This piece is done on scratchboard, and colorized with a mix of watercolor and inks. It has been signed on the front with the artist's pseudonym, and with the artist's full name on the back. It is varnished with a matte finish and framed with a black solid wood floater frame with a sawtooth hanger. Glazing is not included nor recommended for scratchboard.
